Marcia Taylor generates new business opportunities and maintains existing client accounts for Newstex. Her role includes generating new sales and renewals for customer segments including financial market, database and government distributors. Additionally she has signed new blogs and news providers to be part of Newstex’ syndicated content.

Marcia joined Newstex after 13 years experience at Business Wire where she negotiated licensing agreements with a wide range of customers, including Newstex. She managed relationships with local, trade and large online media outlets and portals that included company content in their products and services. Previous experience includes on-air broadcasting, writing for a recording industry publication and record company experience on Nashville’s famed Music Row.

Marcia and her husband recently relocated back to her home state of Indiana. She enjoys cheering on her alma mater, Butler University, playing tennis, bicycling and chasing after their dog.
