Scotty Wise, President/CEO, Scotty’s Brewhouse

Education – B.S. Ball State University, 1995. Major: Marketing, Minor: Public Relations.

Scotty opened the Brewhouse in the Fall of 1996 in Muncie, Indiana on the campus of Ball State University. Thirteen years later, he has a location in Bloomington, Indiana, on the campus of Indiana University, West Lafayette, Indiana, on the campus of Purdue University and two locations in Indianapolis, on the North side and downtown.

Scotty’s Brewhouse now employs over 500 individuals and will reach gross revenues approaching $20M this year.

Scotty sits on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Restaurant Association. Recent awards include: Indiana Business Journal’s Forty Under 40, the National Restaurant Associations Restaurant Neighbor Award, 2007 Blue Chip Business Award, the National Restaurant Association and Coca-Cola’s SPIRIT award and numerous other food and drink awards.

Scotty’s current role with the company is growth, motivation and marketing. He plays an active role in the daily use of Social Media. His company can be seen on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Picky List, Smaller Indiana, LinkedIn, Yelp, Urbanspoon and many other blogging sites. Scotty’s passion can be seen in, not only his participation, but, his active dialogue within Social Media.

Scotty is married to Amy Wise and has 3 children. They live on the North side of Indianapolis.
